Healing and Hope: The Lifted Hands Mission

What began fifteen years ago as a humble family initiative to honor a late mother’s generous spirit has grown into a powerful annual lifeline. Every year, Moses Okaro and Lifted Hands, Inc. coordinate a dedicated team of volunteer medical professionals who travel to underserved communities in Africa—including Anambra, Enugu, and Abia states—to deliver critical, life-altering care entirely free of charge.

From performing vital eye surgeries that restore sight to treating conditions like malaria, diabetes, and high blood pressure, their impact is immense. Beyond essential healthcare, the mission provides food for thousands of families and equips local primary and secondary school students with clothing, shoes, and back-to-school supply kits to pave the way for a brighter future. It is truly incredible, hands-on humanitarian work that transforms entire communities.
